How often should a house cleaner come?
Most homes book every week or every two weeks. Weekly suits busy households, kids and pets. Every two weeks keeps most homes in good shape. Monthly works for smaller homes or light use, and you can also book one clean at a time.
How much does recurring house cleaning cost?
Jobs start at $110, which covers a home up to 1,000 square feet. Larger homes are priced by the square foot. Enter your size in the booking form and you see your price before you book. Recurring visits are priced the same way every time, so the price you see is the price you pay.
What does a house cleaner do on a regular visit?
The kitchen, the bathrooms, the bedrooms and the living areas. Counters, sinks, the stovetop and appliance fronts are wiped, showers, tubs and toilets are scrubbed, every room is dusted and every floor is vacuumed or mopped. Inside the oven and fridge is part of a deep clean.
What is the difference between a regular clean and a deep clean?
A regular clean keeps a home clean. A deep clean resets it: inside the oven and fridge, behind appliances and along every baseboard. Many clients start with a deep clean, then book regular visits to hold it there.
Is hiring a house cleaner worth it?
It is worth it when your free time matters more to you than the hours a full clean takes. A recurring visit also keeps buildup from forming, so the home never gets to the point where it needs a full day to recover.
Do I need to be home for the clean?
No. Most clients leave a door code or a lockbox. You get a text the day before to confirm the visit, and a confirmation when the supervisor walkthrough is done.
Do the cleaners bring their own supplies?
Yes. We bring the products, the equipment and fresh microfiber for every room. If you want a product of your own used, leave it out in its store-bought labeled bottle and we will use it.
Can you do laundry while you clean?
Yes. Laundry is $45 a basket and folding only is $30 a basket. Add it when you book and we run it during the visit.
Are your house cleaners background-checked and insured?
Yes. We send background-checked cleaners, and Tidy Up Services is licensed and insured. We are a veteran-owned company.
